This quote is from Sheen – Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.
We know peeing in the shower is nothing that you’d talk about while having dinner or at work. But what we are pretty sure of is that everybody already tried it at least once. You can admit it now.
“You are basically peeing on yourself and then standing in a puddle of your own urine. It doesn’t get washed away immediately, especially if your drain is a little clogged and you wind up with a kind of shower-bath hybrid situation. The shower is where you go to CLEAN yourself. There is already a place where you can pee and it is called the toilet.” —Augusta Falletta, non-shower-peer (Buzzfeed)
“We are given precious little time (not to mention water) on this planet; why let the twin evils of germophobia and SOCIETY tell you not to multitask? We already drink beer and brush our teeth in the shower (at least those of us who know how to live do). Sometimes — a lot of the time, tbh — nature just calls, and there is no better place to answer then amidst a literal stream of fast-moving water. Also, Augusta, unclog your drain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” —Alanna Okun, shower-peer (Buzzfeed)
Why peeing in the shower is actually a good thing to do.
We found out that peeing in the shower not only feels great, it even is environmentally friendly. The University of East Anglia created a “Go with the Flow” campaign in 2014 after two students estimated that peeing in the shower could save the campus 187 million gallons of water a year.
Economical & Environmentally friendly You save water – and by that, you save your hard earned money $$$. Your bank account will thank you.
More hygienic What a lot of people already know, but still, not everybody knows, is that toilet paper really is not hygienic at all.
“Get some chocolate, wipe it on a wooden floor, and then try to get it up with some dry towels. You’re going to get chocolate in the cracks. That’s why you gotta get them baby wipes.” – Will.i.am
Cleaner Men and women “mist”, drip or get the toilet seat dirty. There’s a reason that many countries use bidets, toilet-like devices that squirt water for cleaning.
Feet Fungus? Not anymore Sounds weird, we know! But pee is an antifungal treatment. The uric acid and ammonia will help with the fight against fungal infections. It’s basically a spa treatment!
Our last word to it – please, only while taking a shower – not while you’re taking a bath.
Do you pee in the shower?
- Of course! Feels soooo good. I’m in the mood for a shower now.
- OMG. Who are all these people talking about peeing in the shower?? eeew..
