Another age-old question here, and another about the shower – we already asked you if you pee in the shower and a lot of you said yes, but is it gross to brush your teeth in the shower? I mean, you leave your toothbrush hanging on the rack as if it were a bottle of shampoo and the shampoo and soap-water drips allover your toothbrush and then you pick it up and put it back in your mouth..ehh.
Articles have concluded that brushing your teeth in the shower is unsanitary on many levels and because of all the germs and bacteria, you’re not doing a really good job of cleaning your teeth. One of the problems is the germs leaving your mouth and being spit back onto the shower floor. We want to contain our germs into the sink but when we spit them on the floor and the water is warm then the bacteria spreads and we are not containing it to the sink anymore.
Even just leaving your toothbrush in the shower is bad because of all the heat and moisture, it builds up bacteria on your toothbrush and it’s no longer clean the next time you go to use it.
But, enough of the educational facts – the matter of fact is if you do it, you do it – so, we don’t want to judge or scare anyone, we just want to know:
